The standard weekly rate includes any taxes and maintenance fees (and I would guess the AI, for the week). When we purchased the package, we did pay a substantial amount to "buy into" the Palace Resorts and become a member. This includes unlimited golf, which I understand there to be only a few limited memberships such as this, and ammenities for each adult of one pedicure, one manicure, one massage, and two tours. The tours for the two children who travel with us (in our membership) also get the two tours.
The weekly rates vary depending on which Palace Resort we choose to stay at - there are now nine to choose from! There are 4 different time periods in which to travel: 01/04/08-3/29/08, 3/30/08-8/23/08, 8/24/08-12/23, and 12/24-01/03. The price range varies depending on the time of year and which resort one chooses to stay - so again, the range this year (and it is subject to change - each year it has gone up slightly related to the Consumer Price Index of the United States) is $1543 - $3500/week. The plan for a Jacuzzi room which is for 4 people covers 2 adults, and then the children are $43/child/night and extra adults are $82/person/night. This covers food and drink more or less. There is a shuttle between the Moon Palace, Sun Palace, Cancun Palace, and Beach Palace that is free and you can go to any of them and use all ammenities!!!
